International Finale is April 17th
Our final international dinner and culture night of the year will be held on Friday, April 17th, at VU's Green Activities Center. The evening will feature international cuisine and a performance of Indian classical dance by the Kalakshiti Performing Arts Company.
Tickets for the dinner and performance are available now and cost $7 for adults and $3 for children ages 5-12. Tickets are on sale at VU’s Old Post Bookstore located in the Student Union. To purchase tickets by phone using a credit/debit card, call 812-888-5992.
The Kalakshiti Performing Arts Company strives to bring forth awareness of India’s art and cultural heritage. Specifically, Kalakshiti aims to propagate the classical and contemporary performing arts (dance, drama, and music) of India through public performances, educational presentations, workshops, and collaborations. It also aims to enrich the community by increasing the access to performing arts of India.

Starting off a great new school year!
For the 2008-2009 school year we have 85 international students from 32 different countries! Of our 85, 32 students are new freshmen. This is an increase from 25 new freshmen last year at this time.

School Year Comes to an End
Another school year comes to an end! We do however have a number of international students taking classes and working on campus throughout the summer break.
The fall term begins on Monday, August 18th. Orientation for new international students will begin on Thursday, August 14th.
